Cookie Crumbles: San Antonio's Cookie Delight Fades to Black After Half a Year

A cookie franchise has closed its first San Antonio location less than six months after it first opened.

Dirty Dough Cookies opened in the Stone Oak strip mall earlier this year, but customers were surprised to see it had abruptly closed. Curious customers posted in a San Antonio Restaurant Facebook group asking why the location had closed, and the owner responded.

"Unfortunately due to slow business, we had to close up the stone oak dirty dough. We are sad this happened but we are so grateful for the time we had there. We are currently looking for someone to buy that stone oak location in the meantime," Jalon Miyasaki, owner

Dirty Dough Cookies still has five other locations in Texas.
