Double Delight: Texas to Experience Culinary Boom as Two Iconic Fast Food Brands Expand Operations

Good news for Texans with a sweet tooth with the announcement that Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery are planning a significant expansion in Texas.

Marble Slab, known for its fresh homemade ice cream, ice cream cakes, and shakes, was founded in Texas in 1983 and now has almost 400 locations across the United States and the Middle East. Great American Cookie has been operating since 1977 and is loved for its gourmet cookies and cookie cakes.

FAT Brands owns the two brands and will open ten dual locations in Texas over the next five years.

"Both Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery have become a go-to destination for sweets in Texas. At FAT Brands, we continue to see strong growth potential for the brands as a co-branded concept, offering a one-stop-shop for all things Cookie Cakes, homemade ice cream and more. As Texas grows, so will we." Taylor Wiederhorn, Chief Development Officer of FAT Brands
