Last Call for Gift Card Redemption: Retailer Set to Close Atlanta Location

Shoppers holding Z Gallerie gift cards have just a few days to use before they become worthless. The furniture retailer filed for bankruptcy for the third time and all stores will soon be closing, including one in Atlanta, Georgia.

Let's take a look at the ongoing story.

Bankruptcy and Closing

According to the latest bankruptcy filing, this business is running out of cash due to "underperforming retail stores, adverse macroeconomic trends, and industry-specific headwinds." The business also filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and 2019.

Z Gallerie first opened in and currently has 21 stores across the United States, including one in Atlanta. However, "All stores will run to the end of the year or until they run out of inventory (whatever comes sooner)."

A 40% off liquidation sale is running across all stores as the retailer prepares to close. According to the website, customers with a Z Gallerie gift card must use it before November 30, so you will need to be quick.
