Last Chance for Footwear Fans: Illinois Store of Well-Known Shoe Brand to Close Doors – Closing Sale Extravaganza!
Disappointing news for fans of the shoe brand New Balance with the announcement that The New Balance store in Fairview Heights, Illinois, will be closing this weekend.
No official reason for the sudden closure has been given, but a closing down sale is in process, and items are heavily reduced. The store first opened in the fall of 2010.
This will be the second shoe store to close in Fairview Heights in recent months, following the shutting of a Sketchers store in June.
It has been a challenging year for retail chains, with stores closing nationwide. Earlier this month, TJ Maxx and Marshalls announced they would close up to six stores in Chicago.
Meanwhile, several retail chains, including Bed Bath & Beyond and Tuesday Morning, have ceased operations.
