Outdoor Speciality Retailer to Shutter Seven Michigan Stores Amid Restructuring
Disappointing news fans of outdoor specialty retailer Moosejaw with the announcement that all seven of its Michigan stores are due to close.
The retailer was acquired by Dick's Sporting Goods in March, and they have stated they will be closing eleven of the fourteen Moosejaw stores - including all seven in Michigan, in February.
In addition to the store closures, Dick's will close Moosejaw’s headquarters in Michigan.

Employees were shocked and disappointed by the news when they found out a virtual company meeting. It was reported that 39 staff were laid off.

The seven stores below will be closed by February 2024.
