Retail Growth Spree: Discount Store Adds Four Fresh California Locations in a Single Weekend
Some good news for Californian shoppers over the weekend, with four new discount stores opening across the state.
DD's Discounts, a division of Ross Stores, opened four stores as part of its expansion plan across the United States. The discount retailer offers " "more moderately priced assortment of first-quality, in-season, name brand apparel, accessories, footwear and home fashions for the famil"."
The Californian based retailer has stated it plans to open 75 Ross stores DD's25 DD's Discounts during the 2023 fiscal year. They currently have 2,061 locations across 41 states.

- El Camino-Howe Center, Sacramento
- Solano 80 Shopping Center, Southwest corner of Solano Avenue and Interstate 80, Vallejo
- 4989 E Kings Canyon Rd, Fresno, CA 93727
- Four Corners Shopping Center, Concord
"These recent openings reflect our ongoing plans to continue building our presence in both existing and newer markets." Gregg McGillis, Ross Store's group executive vice president, property development.
This is welcome news for the retail industry which has been hit hard by bankruptcies and a spare of store closures this year.
