More State Governors are deploying troops to Texas to assist Gov. Abbott in securing the southern border.
Last week Texas Gov. Abbott met with Governors of other states to brief them on Operation Lone Star and ask them to join forces with Texas to protect the southern border.
Prior to the briefing, Texas had received support from Idaho and Florida, and Abbott sought the assistance of more states.
The meeting has proven successful for Abbott, with several states joining Abbott's mission over the last week.
"Iowa has stepped up to help support Texas' historic response to Biden's border crisis. Biden abandoned his duty to uphold the national security of the United States. Working together, we will provide the security Americans deserve." Texas Gov. Greg Abbott
Another fellow Governor steps up to help support Texas as we defend the border. Thank you for answering the call, Governor of Virginia.
Governor Henry McMaster, thank you for answering Texas' call. Biden's open border policies have made EVERY state a border state.
"Idaho, Florida, Nebraska, & Tennessee have answered the call to support our historic border security mission."
Seven states have now joined forces with Texas. Who will be the next state to join?
