Where should the next Buc-ee's be located? That's the question one publication asked their readers recently.

Buc-ee's currently operates 45 stores across Texas and the South, and this year, they will be opening the world's largest gas station and convenience store in Luling. It will be on the site of the first Buc-ee's travel center, built in 2003.

Although Buc-ee's is known for being big next month they are building a store in a town of only 700 people in Kentucky.

So where do Texans want Buc-ee's to open next?

The Fort Worth Telegram which ran the poll said despite people from across Texas and the United States giving their opinion there was an overwhelming consensus for one location.

"We heard from so many people all across North Texas, and as far west as Lubbock, Midland and even Colorado. We also received pleas from folks in East Texas and even Arkansas who want to see the big Beaver mascot grace their highways. But the overwhelming consensus is that Buc-ee’s should take a hard look at the Interstate 20/Interstate 30 corridor west of Fort Worth. More specifically, around Hudson Oaks, Weatherford and Aledo in Parker County."

Some people put a lot of effort into lobbying for their town with one person researching traffic data.

The publication has promised to give the results of the poll and readers' suggestions to Buc-ee's.
