Two more stores in Tennessee are closing permanently next month, offering the chance for some last-minute deals.
The end has finally come for the popular brand- buybuyBABY. Stores across the United States will close in just a few weeks, including the two stores in Tennessee.
The chain of stores sells clothing, strollers, and other items for use with infants and young children and is owned by retailer Bed Bath & Beyond, which has filed for bankruptcy.
Both chains will cease operations, and while no official closing date has been listed, they are expected to close by June 30.
Everything must go!
The brand operated on a $240 million line of credit, and all buybuy BABY stores are running liquidation sales to pay off some of that loan.
Often liquidation sales can be hit and miss, but feedback so far has been the savings are significant. A banner on the company's website states new merchandise is continuing to arrive and is marked down at between 20 and 40% off.
"We encourage shoppers to take advantage of these new price reductions before it's too late. Whether celebrating the birth of a baby or a new graduate, or for someone who enjoys cooking, gardening, or decorating, this unique sales event offers something for everyone." Company spokesperson
