The success of a two day pop up store has led Prada to open its first store in Dallas and only the second store in the state.
Some good news for fashion lovers in North Texas with the announcement this week that iconic fashion brand Prada is set to open its first store in the region.
The Prada store will be in the NorthPark Mall between Neiman Marcus and Dillard’s and will join other luxury brands, Louis Vuitton and Gucci, as tenants of NorthPark.
Dallas has a massive demand for these luxury brands, as evidenced by a Prada pop-up hosted in the Neiman Marcus store at NorthPark last year. In only two days of the pop-up being opened it sold more than $10 million worth of Prada products.

The new store will be the second Prada to open in Texas; there is currently a store in Houston. There are only twelve Prada stores in the United States. Prada posted a 25% sales increase in 20202 which is in stark contrast to many retailers who have been struggling of late.
