The popular grocery chain Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open its first store in Surprise, Arizona, about 45 minutes from downtown Phoenix, on Friday, February 3.
Sprouts Farmers Market, which is based in Phoenix, is known for its fresh organic produce, bulk nuts, and supplements and currently has over 370 stores across the United States. The new store will be the 46th to open in Arizona.
There will be various events and giveaways across the weekend to celebrate the grand opening.
Early risers can attend the ribbon cutting event at 635am on Friday before doors open at 7 am. The first 200 in-store shoppers will receive a free reusable bag filled with samples.
Across the weekend, there will be product tastings, free samples, face painting, and interactive games in what the store describes as a 'pop-up party.'

Sprouts Farmers Market works closely with the St. Mary's Food Bank, and the new store will join this program. St. Mary's distributes food to hundreds of nonprofit partners throughout most of Arizona.
