As people celebrated Thanksgiving with friends and families across Texas, another bus of migrants was heading north.

Two buses containing 80 migrants illegally caught entering Texas arrived in Philadelphia earlier today as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott continued busing migrants to Democrat-led cities.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney has welcomed the migrants but criticized the Texas Governor for not coordinating the arrival and allowing city officials and the Office of Emergency Management to prepare.

“And I think something that’s really critical to know is that Philadelphia has made a really solid intention to be a welcoming city so that folks arriving, regardless of what they’ve had to deal with over the last two months, they know that they’re welcome here and that there’s folks who are going to support them."Erika Guadalupe Núñez, the executive director of the Juntos community organization

Earlier this week, Abbott boasted of the number of migrants he has bussed out of Texas this year.

"As of today, Texas has bused over 13,500 migrants to sanctuary cities. Almost 8,400 to D.C. Over 3,800 to NYC. Over 1,200 to Chicago. Almost 100 to Philadelphia. Texas is doing whatever it takes to provide relief to our overwhelmed border communities." Texas Gov. Greg Abbott
