Arizona Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective today, September 14th, 2023, within a small, but populated area of North-Central Arizona that includes Prescott, Sedona, and Flagstaff, with surrounding nearby zones included.
The last of the impulse moving through that affected the state with damaging winds, flooding, large hail, and even tornadoes within the last couple of days down in the Mesa and Tucson forecast zones will give a final passage today.
Within the watch zone, thunderstorms containing marginally large hail, damaging winds, and flooding will be likely today ... with storms forming in Prescott's forecast area first, then shoving eastward through the watch shade zone ...
