LL Cool Je.g. iHeart Music Awards

LL Cool J was busy hosting the iHeart Music Awards this week, and he even got a chance to speak on the war.

Our prayers are with the innocent people who have lost their lives as the result of this terrible war and with the Ukrainian citizens. They are all living through this crisis every day, and I think it's very important that we send our prayers and our love to them and let them know that we stand with them.

The show aired on the Fox network with performances by LL Cool J, Jennifer Lopez, Silk Sonic, Lil Nas X, David Guetta, and more.

LL Cool J and his Rock the Bells radio also premiered new music from Dave East, Benny the Butcher, and Steven Young. The song is "Don't let me down" from Dave East's latest album, "How did I get here." A friend sent the song to LL Cool J, and he immediately put it in rotation on Rock the Bells Radio. Rock the Bells Radio is bridging the gap between old-school hip-hop and the new generation. We haven't seen anything like this before, and www.rockthebells.com also incorporates e-commerce into hip-hop. Fans can purchase clothing, sneakers, books, hip-hop-related collectibles, etc.

Dave East's project "How did I get here" also features Musiq Soulchild, Anthony Hamilton, Method Man, and others. Dave East and Steven Young also have another song on the radio called "21 more questions" featuring Snoop Dogg. Listeners are waiting to get their hands on this unreleased song, and you can only hear it on Shade 45 with DJ Whoo Kid every Saturday and Sunday.
