(NEW YORK) The Mount Sinai Jewish Center will host a blood drive this Thursday due to a local blood supply shortage.
The blood drive will begin at 4 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. at the Jewish Center's Social Hall at 135 Bennett Ave.
Healthy blood donors are asked to arrive with a photo ID or NYBC donor card. Face coverings will be required.
Event organizers ask potential donors to not donate if they have:

- had close contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID-19 in the last 14 days
- been diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID-19 until 14 days after your illness has resolved
- NOTE: close contact is defined by CDC as being within 6 feet of an infected individual for a prolonged period of time
