Stand-up comedy makes its way to Washington Heights

(NEW YORK) This Thursday, Le Chéile — a local Irish pub and restaurant — will host a stand-up comedy night in Washington Heights.

The bar is home to "Concussion Comedy" — a comedy show that takes place every first and third Thursday of the month from 8:30 to 10 p.m.

Comedians set to perform are also featured on other platforms such as Comedy Central, "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," MTV and "Conan."

Local act Ed McGowan will host "Concussion Comedy."

Tickets are sold in advance and are available for $10 here. There is a one-drink or food item minimum required as well.

According to event organizers, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be checked at the door.
