Are UFOS Time Travelling Earthlings From the Future? Steven Spielberg Seems To Think So

Anthony James

Steven Spielberg is undoubtedly one of the greatest filmmakers of all-time and two his most groundbreaking hits E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind focus on alien visitors coming to Earth. However, in a truth being stranger than fiction story, Spielberg is now propagating a belief that the numerous reports of UFOs seen around the globe may indeed be Earthlings from the future.

In a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, Spielberg admitted that he is incredibly curious when it comes to the subject of Unidentified Flying Objects and went a step further by advancing his own theory as to what they might be. He would go on to say:

What if they’re not from an advanced civilization 300 million lightyears from here? What if it's us coming back to document the second half of the 20th century and into the 21st century? They know something that we don’t quite know yet that has occurred and they trying to track the last 100 years of our history.

Colbert, in typical fashion, made a joke about that at least being a sign that humanity survives into the future.

Spielberg admitted he has never seen a UFO, but that he gives credibility to those who have. He explained:

I believe certain people who have seen things that they can’t explain. I think what has been coming out recently is fascinating.

Though he believes the UFOs we are seeing may indeed be humans, he also hold belief there are other forms of life out there saying:

I think it's mathematically impossible that we are the only intelligent species in the cosmos. But, it also seems impossible that anyone would visit us from 400 million lightyears from here unless it figures out some way of basically jumping the shark, or getting here through wormholes.

In recent weeks, the United States has been abuzz with speculation about mysterious objects that have flown over different parts of the country and had encounters with American fighter pilots. Those some of these reports have been focused on Chinese Spy Balloons, there has been no explanation for some of the other sightings. Glen VanHerck, who is an American Air Force General said that nothing has been ruled out yet and:

We continue to assess.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre added:

I know there have been questions and concerns about this, but there is no, again, no indication of aliens or extra-terrestrial activity with these recent takedowns.

Hopefully some answers will become more readily available to the public in the days to come.
