Halloween season is in full swing and A24 is celebrating the holiday season by re-releasing a number of their popular horror titles in AMC theaters this October.
According to IndieWire, A24 and AMC Theatres are collaborating on a new film series, A24 Presents: October Thrills & Chills Film Series where participating AMC locations will see an A24 horror movie released in theaters every Wednesday during the month of October leading up to Halloween.
Ari Aster’s Midsommar, Robert Eggers’ The Witch, and Ti West's horror 'X' are among the movies slated to arrive.
Naturally, the news has been covered extensively by horror journalists and discussed among fans on horror social media as well.
Tickets are available now on AMC’s website and even if you cannot go to any of the in-theater movies, there are plenty of horror movies and shows available on any horror streaming platform and even a paranormal streaming platform as well.
'The Witch', released back in 2015, will kick this off on October 4th and will be followed by the 2022 film 'X' on October 11th.
'Under the Skin', which was led by Scarlett Johansson, will make it's return to theaters on Ocrober 18th prior to Ari Aster's director's cut of Midsommar, which has a run time of 171 minutes, which will close out the festivities on October 25th.
Current AAA24 members, a membership service that was recently launched and provides fans more access to more A24 related content, will be able to see one film in the series for free.
