Lompoc, a city in Santa Barabra County, is known for its typical Californian shoreline and endless Parks in the countryside. Nature lovers, photographers, and bird watchers come out here to embrace the beauty of nature. But also for visitors traveling to the region, this park has a lot to offer.

River Bend is a large community with more than 30 acres of land. It offers entertainment for baseball fans, soccer players, bike riders, and many other adventure enthusiasts.

The Park has its very own River Bend Bike Park which was part of the community project. Volunteers created these offroad trails and jumps in various sizes for bike lovers and dirt bike riders. The bike park is open daily but without supervision.

River Bend Park offers a lot of playgrounds for soccer fans and soccer players. Eight full-size soccer fields are found throughout the park.

Baseball lovers will be able to watch the Lompoc Babe Ruth practicing and playing on the regulation-sized baseball field inside this park. Together with other adult baseball programs this team is using the field as their training ground. The field includes interesting features not only attractive for Baseball fans. BBC facilities give you an option on enjoying a day out in nature on a sunny day.

Less adventurous visitors can explore the park on one of many walking trails in the park. A total of 2,25 miles are spread across the park.

The Park originally consisted of only 13 acres of land when it was purchased back in 1975. In 2000 the additional 17 acres were bought to create a bigger playground for the young ones and adults alike.

This park is one of many parks surrounding Lompoc. These arks have one thing in common which is offering visitors a place to relax, explore or be active in.
