Saltwater State Park is a pretty good park/beach to go to. It's about halfway between Seattle and Tacoma, not far from the Sea-Tac Airport. We went there with our kids last weekend. There are some nice views, picnic tables, some birds and ducks, clams on the sand, lots of rocks on the sand too, and there are bathrooms available. The park also has miles of walking trails, tide pools, and a decent-sized campground. The beach and picnic tables were clean, and people were keeping a respectful distance. If you go on a rainy day, you will need good hiking shoes, as we encountered a few muddy spots. The parking lot is not that big though and btw you either need to pay for parking or have a Discovery Pass.
Nice park for family, Saltwater State Park
