In an article in The Sun, a man appeared as a guest on an episode of The Antiques Roadshow set in Scotland.

The man had brought in fleece from Dolly the cloned sheep.

Dolly (1996 -2003) was the world's most famous sheep. She was the first mammal cloned from an adult somatic cell.

The man claimed that he had once worked on the science project responsible for creating Dolly.

In addition to the fleece, the man also brought in a box of laboratory equipment used in Dolly's cloning.

An expert at The Antiques Roadshow estimated that Dolly's fleece could be worth up to 30,000 British pounds ($37,887).

However, he hoped that the fleece and the equipment would end up in a museum as it was "seminally important to science."
