A 22-year-old man in Nepal woke up from a hangover with a pounding headache and a vague memory that he had been involved in a brawl the night before.

He also had a lot of abdominal pain that he knew was not just a result of drinking alcohol. He had hurt himself during the brawl and suffered an injury.

Yahoo News reports that the man decided to get his wound treated. A local health worker stitched up the wound but the man's pain did not subside.

Finally, he went to the hospital where an X-ray revealed a bizarre find in his abdomen.

There was a blade stuck to his lower left abdomen.

Doctors were astonished that despite the knife blade being lodged inside him, the man was still able to function.

Surgery was performed and the blade was extracted. Fortunately, for the man, none of his organs were affected by the knife injury and he escaped unscathed.
