In a shocking incident at a Goodwill store in Goodyear, Arizona, someone made a rather unusual contribution in a donation box prompting employees to call the police.

The unusual contribution was a human skull.

The skull had a fake eye and several teeth still attached. According to the police, the box had been dropped off over the weekend.

The box had been placed in the store's bin without a return address.

Investigators at the medical examiner's office claim that the skull is historical.

The Goodyear police spokesperson, Lisa Berry, said about the skull,

It appears to be historic, ancient and does not appear to have any forensic value at all,”

Meanwhile, the Goodwill store is just happy they did the right thing in reporting it to the police.
