An article in The Mirror reports the predicament that one man goes through when his dad begins to date his half-sister.

The man felt weirded out and disgusted by the whole scenario.

He explains that his 64-year-old dad began to date his half-sister for months. When they met, they were strangers and did not yet realize that they were connected in any way.

The man explains the connection,

"My mum had my 50-year-old sister when she was very young. She never played a role in her life and her dad moved her to another country where she lived all her life. My mum met my dad and they got married and had me - but they got divorced soon after."

The man had been introduced to his half-sister by his mother but his father had never been introduced to her.

However, even after they found out that they were indeed connected, the couple chose to keep dating each other.

The man became upset when he found out that his father wasn't going to break the relationship so he went on social media to vent his frustration and receive advice.

He asked social media users whether he had a right to be upset at his dad.

The overwhelming response was that the dad should have known better and that what he was doing wasn't right.

One user wrote,

"That's weird., unsettling, cringy, and gross. You are wholeheartedly entitled to your feelings. I can't imagine how your half-sister is OK with dating her mum's ex-husband either."
