In an article in The Daily Dot, a woman claims that she paralyzed her boyfriend's wrist because of something she did while he was sleeping.

TikToker Olivia Schaffer posted that her boyfriend has lost mobility in his wrist and a doctor expects that it could take six months for him to recover movement in his wrist.

Olivia claims that all she did was fall asleep on his wrist while the couple was sleeping. When he woke up, he could not move his wrist very well.

He was not able to move his wrist for multiple days so he had to go see a doctor and that was when he got the news that it would take six months to recover.

Olivia's boyfriend believes that his loss of movement is because he slept outdoors once. However, Olivia remains adamant that it was most likely her sleeping style that led to his injury.

Her message on TikTok is,

“I just wanna come on here and tell everyone not to sleep on your boyfriend’s arm,”

Olivia's TikTok video went viral and she received many viewer comments speculating on what could possibly have gone wrong with her boyfriend's wrist.

Commenters believed that her boyfriend might have suffered from wrist drop syndrome or a pinched nerve.

However, many other commenters thought the situation was rather funny and suggested that Olivia should "sleep on his arm so he loses the ability to text other women."

Another person suggested,

“You better not leave him before it gets better,”
