There is a 10-year-old boy called Andres Valencia who may very well be the next artistic genius of our times.

His name is Andres Valencia and according to Forbes, he has got the art market in a frenzy.

Valencia was only born in 2011 but he is already part of an art gallery based in New York City called Chase Contemporary.

Chase Contemporary represents emerging artists and Valencia is one of them. According to his biography, Valencia hails from San Diego, California, and is known for his large, dramatic, and colorful paintings.

Valencia's work is inspired by Picasso, George Condo, and Cubism. His style of painting is described as "halfway between surrealism and cubism."

Valencia started painting at the age of five and soon his talent was discovered by art teachers.

Valencia is currently a fifth grader but he has already had his first solo exhibition in June 2022. He sold 35 artworks in that exhibition and each painting sold for between $50,000 and $125,000.

His highest-priced painting hit $230,000 at a charity gala in Italy.

Valencia's paintings are larger than life and he has to stand on a step-ladder to create the paintings which can be as tall as he is. He has also collaborated with many renowned artists.

As an upcoming contemporary artist, Valencia's paintings have been grabbed by celebrities including Sofia Vergara, Brooke Shields, and Channing Tatum.

There seems to be a brilliant future for Valencia but artists have cautioned that the frenzy may not last because the world of art can be fickle.
