On Monday, March 20, Border Patrol and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) agents arrived at a residence in Laredo. Upon entering the premises, they found 11 individuals being held inside. U.S. Customs and Border Protection claims (CBP), all occupants were taken into custody and processed. Further investigation revealed that all people found in the house were Mexican and Guatemalan nationals who had entered the United States illegally.
Discovery of the Second Stash House
The next day, authorities uncovered another stash house in Laredo, Texas. The Laredo Police Department and Texas DPS collaborated with Border Patrol agents to shut down the residence. Ten people were being detained inside when they finally got inside.
