AI is now smart enough to form proper sentences about a topic. Yes, I am as surprised as you are.

I was looking for different tools to help me as a Medium writer when I came across Jarvis AI, claiming to do copywriting. At first, I was skeptical but being an open-minded individual. I decided to try it. To my surprise, it works! And it is slightly creepy that it actually works. But see below for a full article written by an AI.

6 Simple Data Science Steps to Win at Business

Data is the blood of a company.

Data is widely available, more so than what most organizations know what to do for. In this article, I want to discuss using data science is used in business to optimize and grow the business model — generate revenue, reduce costs, and scale your user base. So, let’s get started!

1) Analyze Customer Base

The first step is to have a data scientist analyze your company’s customer base. It would help to look at how users interact with your product and the most common actions they take on daily, weekly, monthly, etc. This will allow you to discover important insights about user behaviour, such as which features attract more customers or if certain marketing.

2) Test the Market

After you understand your users and their behaviour, it’s time to start testing the market. Having a product that can provide value to customers will prove useful in getting valuable feedback about how they really feel. The best way of doing this is through A/B Testing or Split Testing, which allows you to test two different versions of something (website page, advertisement, etc.) to see which one performs better. This way, you can eliminate the version that doesn’t work and double down on what does.

This is also a good time to look at your competitors’ products and see how they are trying to attract customers — this could help give insight into things you didn’t think of before! You should keep track of these trends as well because it will help you stay one step ahead of the game and predict what will happen next.

In addition, creating customer personas can help guide your efforts in reaching customers that fit certain criteria — age, location, gender, etc. This way, you know who is interested in using your product, so it helps to focus on marketing specific products towards them.

3) Competitor Analysis

You can drive growth through data by looking at what other companies have been successful and see how your company could implement a similar strategy. You also want to look for new opportunities within the industry that haven’t been tapped into yet but have potential, like chatbots or virtual reality.

4) Scaling

You should expand your user base as it is the number one indicator of a successful and growing business. There are two main methods for scaling — organic growth or paid advertising. Both will help, but they work in different ways, so you need to choose which works best for your company’s needs. For example, if you are a B to C company, you should be looking at paid advertising to reach your audience. On the other hand, if you are a B to B company with potential clients worldwide, it would be better to focus on organic growth.

Organic growth is when your user base grows through word of mouth and referrals from existing customers. Paid advertising will help drive more immediate new signups by leveraging ads with social media or Google.

Both options come with their own risks and benefits, so you need to weigh out which one has a better chance of working for your company. However, in the long run, it is still worth finding a way to scale or else growth will eventually plateau — no matter how much product value increases.

5) Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

If you have done all of these steps and still aren’t seeing the growth or success within your business, then it’s time to look into creating an MVP (minimum viable product). This will let customers see what they would get if theyThe first step is to have a data scientist analyze your company’s customer base. The main goal is to get a customer base that understands the value of your company’s solution and can provide valuable feedback about what you need to improve upon.

6) Don’t Ignore Trends Within Your Industry

Data science provides opportunities in almost every industry, but it’s important not to ignore trends within your industry. The best way to do this is by staying up-to-date on what’s happening around you and looking for new opportunities that are available or will be soon in the near future. This will make it much easier to plan for the future and stay relevant.

Conclusion

By using data science techniques and understanding your customers, you can find new ways to optimize and grow the business model. Given its unique situation, it’s all about staying ahead of the game and knowing what works best for your company.

That way, you can win at business by using data.

Review of Jarvis AI

Would I ever use this again?

Yes, but only for straightforward, non-opinion-based conversations blogs. The AI is very good at answering the what, how, and why based on past knowledge but connecting the dots between different topics and coming up with a new idea is still challenging. Nonetheless, I was impressed by its ability to form beautiful proper sentences. I used this and Grammarly, and I was able to create a perfectly written article. 10/10 would recommend.

As an Asian female immigrant, I want to break out of the stereotypes and believe in myself to make a difference in the world. And to make a difference, I want to understand how the world works through the lens of research, insights, and data. Having had a natural talent for science and arts since I was little, I joined science competitions to hackathons from school to university. I am currently a data scientist with a keen interest in developing insights. I love learning about how the world works. I believe a great data scientist must have the speech of a diplomat, the curiosity of a scientist, and a business mindset of an entrepreneur. With a background in Biotech, Engineering, and Finance from the University of Waterloo (both a Bachelor and a Master), my insatiable curiosity and a strong desire to make an impact beyond myself have allowed me to step outside my comfort zones. My blog on finance, data science, and blockchain on Medium @thisisanhle (also on other socials) has over 10,000 views a month. Follow me on Medium for my insights.
