Lee Toland Krieger is one of the best American film directors we have currently and has given some best series and movies. Shadow and Bone is his new series and is a well and worth-watching series. Imagine being a lonely orphan with a cartographer in a war-torn nation, and then you figure out that you could be the sole survivor of your country. It is a lavish and entertaining adaptation made in Budapest, Hungary, British Columbia, and Canada. There are some strong performances and an incredible production design. The best part of the series is the storytelling and interconnection of each episode. Talking about the storyline, it brings out the richness of the fictional world, Galligan and Skogam mainly did as much as they could as enemies, but they took their journey far from the action and brought a different angle. Although the story ended on a deft end, and we are yet to see the second season.
