CLEVELAND, OH — As the theaters are now back open across the country, the Playhouse Square in Cleveland is ready to welcome show-goers to amazing shows like The Choir of Man, The Lion King, The Prom, The classic Nut Cracker, and many more.
From June 12 to July 25, the Choir of Man is playing at the Mimi Ohio Theatre, presented by Penske Cleveland. This runaway hit is hitting the road for its first U.S. tour. The show offers 90 minutes of a party and concert combined and is known for “the ultimate-feel good show”.
The GRAMMY® Award-winning “singer in the Kangol hat”, jazz vocalist Gregory Porter, will be performing on September 19, 2021, in Mimi Ohio Theatre.

Disney’s The Lion King is back and making a triumphant return to the Playhouse Square. Enjoy the musical performing art from October 1 to 15 in KeyBank State Theatre, with a running time of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

4. The PROM
The Prom will be playing from November 2 to 21 at Connor Place. THE PROM is a new musical comedy about big Broadway stars on a mission to change the world and the love they discover that unites them all.
It will feature direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw, a book by Tony Award winner Bob Martin, and Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin. Also, music will be by Tony Award nominee Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin.
The holiday favorite, The Nutcracker, will make a comeback to the theater after one year of hiatus. The Nutcracker by the Cleveland Ballet will be playing at Connor Place from December 3 to 5. The Nutcracker is suitable for audiences of all ages, and families wouldn’t want to miss this.
