Atlanta BeltLine appoints new Chief Financial Officer

ATLANTA, GA - Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) appointed Nicole Kimes as the new Chief Financial Officer on Monday, August 9.

Kimes will serve the organization to provide leadership and manage policy and procedures for the finance department in collaboration with Invest Atlanta.

She will handle the financial analysis for transactions, including analyzing financial options for capital investments throughout the entire ABI program, and developing the annual budget, and continue to monitor track revenue and expenses.

Atlanta BeltLine President and Ceo, Clyde Higgs stated that he is excited that Kimes is joining the organization.

Higgs further stated that Kimes's strong background in real estate and accounting could create a monumental step in Atlanta BeltLine development. It is crucial to have a strategic and efficient CFO

Kimes has been in the financial industry for more than 17 years, she specialized in a wide range of responsibilities including funds, development properties, investor reporting, and corporate operations. She was also known to handle financial reports in the private and public real estate industries.

She recently served as Vice President of Accounting in a real estate developer, during her tenure, she led the accounting process for the fund, and other financial reporting to investors and lenders.

Kimes graduated with a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Southern University and A&M College. Her first career started when she began to work in a firm foundation, and manage budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and audit.

The Atlanta BeltLine is one of the most comprehensive economic and transportation development in the City of Atlanta. The organization is also the largest and has a wide range of urban redevelopment programs in the United States.
