ATLANTA, GA - Gwinnett County Public School (GCPS) collaborates with the Gwinnett Health Department to host a vaccination clinic every Wednesday throughout August. Located in Discovery HS starting from 3 p.m until 7 p.m.

Discovery High School is a public high school in Lawrenceville, and a part of Gwinnett County Public Schools, located in 1335 Old Norcross Rd, Georgia 30046, United States.

GCPS aims to educate the community about COVID vaccinations and their benefits. The county school also encourages people to maximize the opportunity to get themselves and their loved ones to be vaccinated. This vaccine is eligible for Georgia residents age 12 and above.

A few health departments outside Gwinnett county including Newton and Rockdale also encourages parents and guardians to make sure their children are completing the routinely recommended vaccines, and child check-up visit regularly.

They recommend parents to always protect their children's health by getting vaccinations that are important to make the kids remain healthy against serious diseases, like measles and whooping cough, or COVID-19.

According to the researcher, there's no direct tool or medium that could instantly stop the pandemic, but you can take your own part to stop the COVID-19 transmission by implementing safety protocols and protect yourself and others with vaccines.

Always remember to wear a mask, maintaining your distance, staying home when you are ill, and wash your hands often. The GCPS will continue to encourage residents to wear masks in all facilities and public transportation.

If you have any questions or want to know more information about the vaccine you can contact Gwinnett County Public School at (678) 301-6000.
