ATLANTA, GA - The 17th Annual Sisters By Choice or SBC fundraising event will take place during the Pink Ribbon 5k Run/Walk. You can participate either in person or virtually from July 16-18.

On Saturday, July 17, starting at 8:00 a.m., participants can participate in person at Piedmont Park. Between July 16 and 18, you can participate virtually from the comfort of your own home. Sisters By Choice Mobile Breast Clinic will continue to receive 100% of the proceeds from the event to cover its operating costs.

Sisters By Choice has been at the frontline of the fight against breast cancer disparities. They provide at least 1,000 free breast health services to uninsured, underinsured, and homeless women and men each year, including mammograms, breast exams, breast biopsies, and sonograms.

The event will be held at Piedmont Park, 1320 Monroe Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. Once you've registered, you will get the registration confirmation on your email. Participants must comply to all the rules, including be there on time, 50 runners per wave and it will be every 5 minutes.

There will be a temperature check before entering the venue. 6-feet social distancing practice also a must throughout the area.

For those who participate virtually, you can check the procedure here.

Water will be provided by the committees for in-person participants. While T-shirt will be sent days before the event.
