Atlanta, GA - UGA Extension Fulton County is ready to continue the Fulton Fresh Kids' Market from July 13 to August 12, 2021. Part of Fulton Fresh Youth Program, it will continue in the summer of 2022.

The kids' market will give Fulton County children a free bag of produce to take home at weekly market sites. Each bag of produce will include a science experiment handout and kit, as well as a film that will be posted on the Fulton County website and social media platforms every week, so kids can enjoy at-home science experiment using the featured food from the market.

The program will also teach a nutritious dish using the week's featured produce from the market. A recipe note will be included in each bag of produce, and a weekly recipe video will be posted on the Fulton County website and social media platforms.

To participate, you can stop by one of their market areas on Tuesday to Thursday or use the online videos to follow along at home. The market's second session will take place from July 13 to August 12 with various activities that will be informed weekly.

Participating in this Fulton Fresh Kids' Market will granted you a free access to Fulton Library sources as well. The Fulton County Library System has put together some virtual library resources to go along with the market's programs.

Most linked resources require a Fulton County library card to access. However, you don't have to worry if you don't have the library card. You can go straight to the online library card application by scanning the QR code from the PDFs provided in this page. Once Fulton County libraries reopen to the public, STEM kits will be given.
