ATLANTA, GA — Six Cherokee County School District Class of 2021 graduates have got scholarships that were awarded by ABM Industry Groups LLC.

The company gives custodial services intended for CCSD schools. Every year the company awards a scholarship worth $1,000 to one graduating senior from every CCSD’s high school.

The six recipients of the scholarship are chosen by a scholarship committee of retired CCSD educators and ABM representatives. They evaluated them based on a student’s involvement in school and community activities and service, personal essays, as well as references.

“We’re very proud of each of you for the accomplishments and service that earned you this scholarship and wish you the best as you pursue your dreams. Thank you to ABM for its continued support of our schools by honoring students for exemplary school and community service,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower.
