ATLANTA, GA — The long-awaited Atlanta Dogwood Festival Mimosa 5K will be back this year on Saturday, the 7th of August 2021.

Runners from all-region of Atlanta can participate and celebrates summer with a morning run and end the day with iced-cold mimosa toast in the park.

This event is part of "The Dogwood Festivals", which has been an Atlanta staple for more than 80 years. The festival will include sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, and much more.

Since its launch in 2015, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival Mimosa 5K has become a runner's favorite. This event will be held at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia, among many others events and exhibitions in the big Dogwood festivals.

Sponsored by Cupcake Vineyards, runners who are 21 and above can stay and enjoy free admission to the festival, which begins at 10 a.m. The younger runners can participate in the "Mini-Mosa" immediately following the 5K. Early registration is recommended.

The Mimosa 5K starts at 8 a.m, and the Mini-Mosa starts at 9:15 a.m. The entrance fees for Mimosa 5K start from $35-$45, and registration includes a t-shirt and mimosa for participants age 21 and above. The entrance fees for the Mini-Mosa start from $20 per person.

There's also a Kids Village in the main festivals featuring arts & crafts, interactive activities, and face painting for all ages. In addition to the family-friendly event, people can also visit Fine Artist Market and enjoy a wide array of diverse musical offerings that will fill the summertime air throughout the weekend.
