Swimming in a Random Spot in the Smoky Mountains What Could Go Wrong?

We went to Midnight Hole and absolutely loved getting to swim in the Smokies so we went searching for another swimming hole. We started by heading towards the Greenbrier area to a swimming hole we had found a while back but the road was closed. We learned later on that someone was reported missing and was possibly located near there around that same day. Since we were unable to swim there we headed toward Elkmont. There is a really nice swimming hole here to cool off on a hot summer day. Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend much time in the water until a summer thunderstorm rolled in. If you are looking for fun things to do in the Smoky Mountains we highly suggest searching out swimming holes in the Smokies.
