As you already know, Cades Cove is full of history. It’s where the first settlers lived when they came to the Smoky Mountains. Many historical buildings are located in the area. There’s a rich backstory to almost everything in Cades Cove, including the Pearl Harbor tree. We found this hidden gem the last time we were in the Smokies. Pearl Harbor Tree Directions. Continue pass the parking area until you come to a small pull off on the right hand side of the road. The tree is located at the end of a short path up a hill.
