Mingus Mill History | Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Right inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a historic grist mill that is still functional today. Mingus Mill is just north of Oconaluftee Visitors Center in Cherokee. If you are looking for fun things to do in the Great Smoky Mountains between March and November you can come and see the old grist mill in action. It is also a peaceful place to visit throughout the year and see a slice of history.
