"Young and the Restless:" What's in a "mutually beneficial agreement" for Adam and Jack?

Amy Christie

At the very end of the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, Adam agrees to talk to Jack about what he knows about Tucker McCall.

Not only does that cause doubts about his honesty and his initiative to change his life and behavior, but he also mentions benefits.

More to the point, Adam would like to achieve a "mutually beneficial agreement" with Jack. While it's clear what Jack wants since he's worried Tucker is about to make a move against Jabot and intends to safeguard his family's company, it's not that obvious what Adam might be after.

Could it be he's got his eye set on a powerful position at Jabot and is ready to leave Newman and Victor for good?

What do you think this means for his relationship with Victor and his affection for Sally? Are they both going to give him up if this comes to light?
