"Young and the Restless:" Is Sally really over Adam?

Amy Christie

If last week they shared a kiss that left both of them thinking, in this latest episode from The Young and The Restless, Sally and Adam have a longer talk about their feelings.

Just as he was about to sit down at the bar, Adam noticed Sally working on her business plan at a table. As she looks up, he approaches and comes to sit down. He insists that things are not over between them.

Even if they went through a loss and they will always be saddened by those moments, Adam feels like they should have another chance.

However, Sally tells him she can't get into something like that because she's too busy.

"Neither of us has time for this mess," she says.

And Adam remarks that she didn't say she wanted nothing to do with him, just that the timing was all wrong.

Sally points out she's in a relationship with Nick, but Adam reminds her of all the nice moments they shared.

"I'd like you to tell me, 'I may love Nick, but I'm still in love with you,'" Adam says.

Sally is visibly confused, but she repeats she's not interested.

Adam ends up leaving, but as he looks back, Sally seems regretful.

How do you think this will play out? Is it over between her and Adam, or is she just hesitating because it's very complicated, but she still cares about him?
