After he recruits Phyllis to get access to Billy Abbott's finances and pays her an impressive amount of money, Tucker McCall finally reveals what he wants to do with Billy.
In today's episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis assumes he just wants to steal from Billy. But then Tucker makes it clear.
"No, nothing as crass as that," he says.
Tucker's plan is far more damaging. He wants to make it look like Billy is guilty of embezzlement against Jabot, his family's company. And Tucker and Phyllis think back on the time when Billy was forgiven for the exact same thing.
Phyllis tries to stall and reconsiders things a few times. Then she mentions a firewall she can't get past, but through it all, Tucker keeps pushing for his purpose. She gives in and lets him have direct access to Billy's accounts.
