Sally and Adam's relationship seemed totally over after they lost their baby, and she blamed him for making that decision for her. However, time has passed since then, and Sally isn't only feeling more positive about their connection again, but she's constantly getting closer to Adam.
While every time she's with Nick, she stands by him and tells him how much she cares, how much of that is just habit and her need to feel safe? Not to mention, Nick is financing her business venture, so there might be gratitude involved, too.
Sally's dinner with Adam and the kiss after, as she was going into her room, shows there's definitely a spark left there. And it looks like Adam isn't about to waste time, and he will try to get her back.
