A loving husband decided to use his carpenter skills to help his wife take her passion for redesigning clothes to the next level.
He got a rusty old camper and set to work. The results were outstanding, and his wife couldn’t stop smiling once she saw the space he created for her.
What are the details?
Bridget and Bob, who live in Tennessee, share a unique bond, and they worked together on the ultimate couple project. It was meant to give Bridget more space to create, and now her love for design has certainly found a new place to reign in. A camper will be her new studio, according to The Epoch Times.
“My husband, Bob, was going to build me a small building to use as my studio, but with the price of lumber, we held off. Then we thought of taking a camper,” Bridget shared with the outlet.
Once they got the camper, the couple was confronted with significant internal damage because its windows had been left open for almost two years. Still, Bob was excited to take it home and start working on it.
“It took longer than we initially thought. The inside revealed more and more destruction from all the water that had accumulated,” Bridget said.
They had to fix the insulation and get rid of humidity, mold, and mildew. After that, they started mapping out the space to turn it into the ideal studio for Bridget.
“I have an abundance of different materials. It was indispensable to have everything at my fingertips to design with, and with the new studio being separate from the house, I could work at any time,” she said.
Once the camper was cleaned out and there were no traces of mold left, the creative project kicked off. Bob built shelves, counters, then painted the ceiling, walls, and fittings in white to give the camper a spacious look.
Bridget shared the final results on social media, and hundreds of people chimed in to applaud the wonderful project.
“It was unbelievable! Over 3,300 reactions and hundreds of comments. Bob is an amazing carpenter; he is able to have an idea and make it happen,” Bridget said, amazed at how touched everyone was by this project filled with creativity and so much love.
