A teenager from Argentina lost his mom just a few days before an important soccer game. After the match was done, the players on the opposing team gave him a surprise and tried to comfort him.

What are the details?

Luis Guerci is a player for Alumni de Azul, a soccer club based in Buenos Aires. Last weekend he had to play his first game since his mother passed away. The loss had happened just a few days before the match, according to Sunnyskyz.

"Thanks for everything, Mom. Kisses to you in heaven. I love you," was the message the teenager was wearing on a T-shirt under his jersey.

Once the game ended, all the players from the opposing team came closer to show their support in this difficult time. They ran over to Luca and gave him a big group hug.

The heartwarming embrace was posted on social media, and many people appreciated the touching gesture.

"Among the beautiful gestures that we have seen during the championship, this is, without a doubt, the most exciting ... Luca Guerci, from #Alumni, suffered the physical loss of his mother a few days ago, and today decided to also play with his champion category of 10th," was the online statement from the regional soccer organization.

"At the end of the match, the #Atletico players hugged him and consoled him in this difficult moment."

In times of loss and heartbreak is when compassion brings new hope and helps the healing process.

What do you think about this amazing gesture? Have you seen something similar happen in your community?
