Plano police have taken into custody four men for the assault on a Plano marine that left the victim with 15 stab wounds.

What are the details?

Jesus Ricardo Gomez, 39, and Leonardo Adam Sainz, 48, each face one count of aggravated assault. Abel Roman Castano, 36, and Valerie Agapita Cordero, 30, have been arrested and are facing one count of assault each, as The Dallas Morning News reports.

At this time, it is not clear whether any of the men have attorneys representing them or not.

Plano Police got the emergency call about the assault at 2:20 a.m., on June 19. The incident took place at the End Zone Bar & Grill in the 3000 block of West Parker Road. First responders found Hunter Aselton wounded at the location.

Aselton, 26, said for NBC 5 that the group of men attacked him without provocation just when he was getting ready to leave the bar. He fought back to defend himself from the blows. He eventually managed to get back inside the bar. He doesn’t remember anything else. The next thing he knows is that he woke up in the hospital.

“I’m sure there’s a point where I could’ve laid in the fetal position and just prayed this to stop. But that fight had to keep going until I was out of there,” the man said for the station.

On Friday Plano Police stated that the investigation continues. In the meantime, Sainz is out of the Collin County jail on a $50,000 bond. Castano and Cordero were also freed for $7,500 for each. It is not clear if Gomez is still in jail.
