Atlanta's restaurants that reopen and launch this July

ATLANTA, GA - There are some restaurants that will reopen and launch in several areas of Atlanta starting this July. From Midtown to East Atlanta Village, clear up your schedule to see these foodie revivals.

Farm Burger, an Atlanta-based burger company, will reopen inside the Midtown Whole Foods along 14th Street on Monday, on July 12, after closing during last year's peak of the COVID-19 outbreak.

In addition to selling grass-fed beef burgers, chicken, vegetarian, and vegan burgers, the Midtown store has made new fried chicken sandwiches from Farm Burger's Buckhead location's takeaway and delivery company Farm Birds.

The burger restaurant on 14th Street has 86 seats inside and up to 28 chairs outside. Farm Burger-Midtown will be operating daily from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the time being. In September, evening hours are planned to start.

Meanwhile, in Buckhead, Chef Pano Karatassos and the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, which includes Chop's Lobster Bar, Atlanta Fish Market, and Bistro Nikko, have established Lamb Shack, a ghost kitchen from the group's Buckhead Greek restaurant Kyma.

The quick casual takeout and delivery restaurant's menu is centered on lamb, which is served as build-your-own wraps and salads. There's also a lamb pie with cheese, yogurt, kalamata olives, arugula, and dill on the menu, as well as three-day marinated lamb chops, Greek fries, doughnuts, and other sides. People can order takeaway from Kyma or have it delivered by UberEats or DoorDash.

Gusto, an Atlanta-based salad, wrap, and grain bowl restaurant, will launch a store in the former Kung Fu Tea space on Park Place and Edgewood Avenue this fall.

The restaurant will be built near Georgia State University, between the Five Points and Peachtree Center MARTA stations. Owner Nate Hybl anticipates delivery to be a big component of the Downtown location's business.

This summer, Hybl will open a shop in East Cobb at the Parkaire Landing property. It will join Chamblee as the second Gusto with a drive-thru.

Victorian Atlanta and Bellwood Coffee teamed up to launch Victorian Atlanta x Bellwood Coffee on Glenwood Avenue in East Atlanta Village, inside a 100-year-old home. Bellwood Bar, located in the center of the store, serves coffee and coffee drinks, as well as some grab-and-go meals.

Inside, there are approximately nine seats at a bar and a few seats spread throughout the shop, with extra sitting on the patio. Most of the Glenwood Avenue area is occupied by the Victorian, which includes a cactus room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The EAV shop is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday through Sunday.
