ATLANTA, GA — Second Summer Session of the 2021 Fulton Fresh Mobile Market by the University of Georgia takes place from July 13 to August 12.

The Fulton Fresh Mobile Market is held to educate people, especially kids, about the importance of fresh and in-season produced food. There will be UGA Extension SNAP-Ed online module that attendees will participate in, and they will be provided a free bag of in-season produce at the end of the event.

This event is aimed to raise awareness and consumption, especially for in-season and local produce agriculture through education focused on processing fruits and vegetables to be tasty. This also creates an important role for Fulton Fresh as a way to combat childhood obesity through the encouragement of healthy fruit and vegetable.

The first session was held from June 1 to July 13 with six stops a week around Fulton County. The second session from July 13 to August 12 will continue to be held for the public and will continue its outdoors, contact-less and curbside activity.

The event will be held every week on:

  1. Tuesdays at Faith AME Zion Church (38 Hamilton E. Homes Drive, Atlanta, GA 30311) at 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. and in Hillside International Truth Center (2450 Cascade Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30331) at 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
