ATLANTA- Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC) has announced on June 21 that Naveen Krishna was appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Information & Digital Officer.
In this position, Mr. Krishna responsible to lead the strategy and direction for all technology, digital initiatives as well as assuring alignment with GPC's strategic roadmap. Then, he will report it to the president, Will Stengel.
Mr. Krishna has over 25 years of technology experience, especially in the omni-channel retail as well as consumer products industries when he takes part in GPC.
Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Information Officer in Macy's. In this position, he was responsible for driving the technology strategy and direction, including all stores, e-commerce, as well as internal-facing technologies.
Before joining Macy's, Mr. Krishna held the position of Vice President of Technology for The Home Depot. In this role, He had responsibility for all digital platforms, user experience design, marketing technologies, as well as customer care.
In addition, he served a variety of roles with Target, FedEx Office, and FedEx Express and spent several years guiding technology consulting engagements with Deloitte Consulting.
