Just as we welcome the start of summer, Memorial Day in Houston will be a combination of good barbeque, market days, and outdoor festivals in every corner of the city. 1. Memorial Day Tribute by Classical Musicians
Give salutes to those who served the country by attending a Patriotic music performance by the Monarch Chamber Players, an ensemble of top classical musicians in town. This event will be held on May 28 at Sugar Land Town Square.

2. The Parkway Market Days
Organized by Regent Square, the art market will be held Sunday, May 30, 2021. The location will be just across Buffalo Bayou Park and The Villas at River Oaks, at the corner of Allen Parkway and Dunlavy. Visitors can see the Americana-themed market with a line of local vendors, flag-painting activity, music, and good food.

3. Festival at Buffalo Soldiers National Museum
Visitors will be welcomed for museum tours, barbecues, and photo sessions with troopers when celebrating Memorial Day at Buffalo Soldiers National Museum. This festival will be held all day on Monday, May 31, 2021.

4. Memorial Day Monday Celebration at Lincoln Bar
On Monday, May 31, 2021, Lincoln Bar is inviting the community to commemorate the historical day by having good drinks, nice tacos, DJs, and a photo booth.

5. Homegrown Music & Art Festival 2021
This weekend, starting from May 29 to May 31, the people of Houston can enjoy music performances by some of the best musicians in town. Some of the lineups are The Weeds, Post Profit, Planet Gears, Jypsy Rose, and Upside Down Cadillac. The event will be at 6848 Almeda-Genoa Road, and you can also camp at the site.
